The Distributors Brisbane was originally formed to reestablish an independent Queensland owned and operated business that offered friendly, fast and efficient service with a huge range of products and great value for money. In 2003, the business was established via a partnership between Stewart Robertson, owner of The Distributors Sunshine Coast (ACW), Louis Filipetto, owner of The Distributors Toowoomba (TCW) and Tony McIntosh formerly working with Amalgamated Confectionery and Cadbury Confectionery. “Without the support and loyalty of our customers and suppliers, we would not have grown to become one of the leading and largest wholesalers in the country,” said Managing Director Tony McIntosh. “We have come a long way since our early years and now proudly employ over 12 Sales Representatives and 70 staff who collectively ensure that our 3000 plus customers receive the best possible service and their deliveries in an efficient and timely manner”.

to recognise and acknowledge customers who have exceeded
more than one million dollars in purchases since our inception.
To thank our loyal and long term customers, a recognition plaque and gift hamper was arranged to express our gratitude. Amazingly, there are over 30 customers who have qualified. Many of these have been with our business since day one and we wanted to thank those who have been so instrumental in our growth and who have enabled us to create a successful business which is not only nationally recognised for its achievements, but which continues to deliver on our commitment to bring a competitive but personalised service and value to the trade.
